Thank you for your reply. 

Mark visited your hospital yesterday evening and under the care of Dr Danai, his leg has been upgraded to a cast. The ambulance team helped Mark to move to and from the trolley bed while offering good care and support to the damaged leg to minimise the discomfort.

Ian and Mark had a number of questions, and items to discuss and look at with with Dr Danai. Dr Danai was attentive, responsive and the available options were reviewed together, and carefully considered. It is believed the best option given the current constraints and situation has been chosen for now.

Mark was in tears before the treatment for fear the experience might be similar to another dreadful one encountered at another venue days prior. For the treatment, the nursing team administered the medication and Dr Danai performed the nececessary adjustments to the leg and applied cast with care and attention. The pain was barely noticeable. 

The nurse explained how the crutches work how adjustments are made. The corrected height helps with mobility. The ambulance team helped Mark get back to the room safely.

This has added a wonderful improvement to Mark's life. He is now able to get from the bed to the bathroom, to the kitchen without too much pain. He had his first decent nights sleep last night without waking up in pain and suffering.

Time will tell how well the leg is positioned and is able to heal and what the outcome may be given sufficient recovery time. Thank you to you and your team. Good luck to you!
